What is the purpose of card personalization?

Card Personalization is used to designate on the basis of printed or saved datas for a specific person. Besides envelopes and other supplements could be personalized. In this way, cards and other printed papers are matched to each other perfectly and sent to the customer.

In order to apply the personalization requests, technics below are used at Kart Sistem.

DoD Print

Productive facilities of Kart Sistem are equipped with the latest card personalization technologies. Thanks to UV inkjet systems, cards could be personalized, magnetically coded and at a speed up to 30.000 pcs/h and barcods could be printed.

Thermal Print

Flat thermal card personalization is supported with a wide range of equipments. In addition to this, coding could be made in the same transition with the high-speed thermal print. Typing fonts are limitless and any fonts supplied by customer could be used too for special cases. Besides personalization could be made in various colours

Embossment

Coding and card embossment are online carried out both in standard ‘’OCR B’’ and in Simplex characters by Datacard systems that is an industrial standart supplying card personalization in banking quality

Embossed datas are printed on the cards by using durable and high quality foil and color fittingly with customer’s request

Magnetic Coding

By magnetic coding, compliance audit to ISO specification of the coded data and revision of the data could be made. Both lo-co and hi-co magnetic strip cards could be coded with the applied methods.

Chip coding modules work in coordination with the thermal card printers which supply a special and safe infrastructure for contactless smart card production

Barcoding

Using barcods on the plastic cards has many advantages like saving of time and money, automatisation of business processes. Kart Sistem’s productive facilities are equipped with hi-tech technology to print barcods on the plastic cards properly in high quality

Kart Sistem’s hi-tech barcod softwares and equipments are used to print the barcods fittingly to ANSI/ISO classification

2D/QR Coding

By using thermal and DoD printing technics, 2D codes also called QR code could be prepared by Kart Sistem. -

2D barcodes could store more datas than traditional barcods having 20 characters. By this means, corporations could be more creative and have chance to develop applications for promotions with customer attendance

DoD Printing

Kart Sistem’s own productive facilities are equipped with the latest card personalization technologies and could personalize and code the cards with a capacity 30.000 pcs/h. Kart Sistem has UV inkjet systems that could be personalized by using black ink and also they are equipped

with label-adding modules to apply activation labels or barcodes.
